Past time pinup clothing
Pinup clothing takes it’s inspiration from the photos and pictures of women in the 40′s who posed for calender, magazine and postcard shoots. Posing in pinup dresses and clothing they were a big hit amongst the servicemen during the war years. Women such as Betty Grable and Rita Hayworth wore pinup dresses in many shoots but lingerie styles were made famous by the one and only Bettie Page. Another fantastic example of pinup clothing is art from American painter and illustrator Gil Elvgren. Featuring pictures of scantily dressed women in cheeky but feminine poses they are a great source of inspiration for pinup clothing and dresses.
